Every year, the Whitestone team comes together in person to step back from the tactical and focus on what's next. This year, we took that tradition international for the first time, landing in Cabo San Lucas for a retreat on the Baja peninsula. To mark the milestone, we built the Whitestone Sol collection from the ground up. It’s a fully customized, retail-grade capsule designed to serve as the team's official uniform for their time in the Baja sun, rooted in the local landscape and held to our internal creative standards.
A destination this distinctive demanded a sourcing strategy to match. Rather than pulling from standard catalog options, we plugged directly into specialized international manufacturers across India, Canada, the UK, and China to build a collection that could hold its own against anything on a resort retail floor.
To ensure every piece landed perfectly, we built a custom redemption platform months before the retreat. Team members could browse mockups, compare colorways, and select their preferred sizes and styles. The result was a 100% made-to-order production model. This meant no excess inventory, no guesswork, and a personalized "Prepare for Cabo" kit shipped directly to each employee before departure.

The Sol collection demonstrated that bespoke corporate gifting can scale into a premium, global retail experience without compromising on craft, sustainability, or individual personalization. The redemption model eliminated overproduction entirely. The onsite activation, which was a curated market of handcrafted pieces sourced directly from regional Mexican artisans, extended the collection's impact beyond the shipment itself, turning a standard souvenir moment into a hands-on experience rooted in the destination. End-to-end, the Sol collection proved that when technology, international sourcing, and circular design work together, the result is more than merch. It's a cultural artifact.
