INSPIRATION

As Tastemade prepared to host the LA Wine & Food Festival in Santa Monica, they wanted a memorable takeaway that matched the high-taste energy of their booth experience.

With four signature cocktails being served onsite and a growing community engaging through their app, they saw an opportunity: create a premium keepsake that guests would love and continue using long after the event.

Their goal: drive app engagement and bring the festival flavor home through an elevated printed piece that wowed in-person.

Open notebook on a wooden surface with the words 'ADD YOUR OWN' in red text on the cover, and a person's hand holding a black pen, ready to write on a lined page inside.
Stack of red and white various papers or flyers on a wooden surface, with a green folder, a striped cloth, and part of a white sheet with a black and white illustration of a glass on it.

PLAN

Our team collaborated closely with Tastemade to design an immersive print moment that seamlessly tied into their activation.

We:

  • Concepted and designed all cocktail artwork and layouts

  • Integrated a QR code driving drink-lovers directly to the Tastemade app

  • Ensured each cocktail featured in-booth matched the recipes in the book

  • Created an “Add Your Own” section to keep the booklet useful (and cherished!) beyond the festival

  • Managed countless design refinements to achieve flawless finish (per Tastemade’s high standards)

500 booklets were produced and distributed to festival guests right from the booth.

A highly tactile, premium printed piece built to stand out:
