INSPIRATION
Spotify has built audiobooks into a genuine cultural moment, and they wanted physical experiences to match. When fans are as invested in a story as they are in the author behind it, and when creators are constantly looking for content worth sharing, there's an opportunity to make something that lives beyond the screen. Across two campaigns, Spotify came to Whitestone with that same instinct: turn something digital into something people want to hold, keep, and show off.
The first was a partnership with bestselling author Ali Hazelwood, as a chance to give her dedicated BookTok fanbase a collectible as thoughtful and personal as the story itself. The second was a holiday influencer mailer, designed to bring multiple audiobook titles to life through a curated, advent-style unboxing experience made for tastemakers and content creators. These projects were different audiences, different formats, but the same ambition: storytelling in object form, delivered flawlessly.
PLAN
Whitestone was brought in as a full-service creative and logistics partner for both projects. For the Ali Hazelwood collectible, we led concept development, translating audiobook chapter artwork into a tactile, gift-worthy format through extensive print and foil testing. We coordinated directly with the author for hand-signing before fulfillment. For the holiday influencer kit, we owned the entire kitting strategy—from structural packaging design to assembly, inventory management, and direct-to-recipient drop shipment. In both cases, Whitestone handled what most partners can't: the creative, the production, and the operational complexity, all under one roof.
PRODUCT
The Ali Hazelwood collectible was a museum-quality print housed in a custom two-piece shipper box with soft-touch lamination and gold foil accents. Inside: dimensional gold foil chapter artwork, a custom notecard with a QR code linking to the audiobook, and a hand-signed first edition. Every detail was custom, nothing off-the-shelf. The holiday influencer kit took a different form: a box within a box, with compartments revealing audiobook-themed items curated to specific titles. Each piece was individually sourced, organized, and assembled by Whitestone into a cohesive, premium unboxing experience built for content creation and social sharing.
RESULTS
Both campaigns delivered on what matters most: a physical experience that felt as considered as the content it represented. The Ali Hazelwood collectible resonated deeply with BookTok audiences, turning a digital release into a tangible collector's moment. The influencer kits gave Spotify a fully managed solution with every kit arriving complete, on time, and ready to open on camera. Across both projects, Whitestone managed creative direction, production, custom packaging, author coordination, fulfillment, and global drop shipment from start to finish.
The result: two distinct campaigns, with one consistent proof point that Whitestone can take a vision all the way to the doorstep
