INSPIRATION

SESCO Cement, a provider and manufacturer of high quality cement, wanted to create a pop-up redemption store that served as an elevated employee perk program.

Their vision was to enhance the employee experience by offering high-quality merchandise through an intuitive interface.

The pop-up store runs for approximately one week, creating a sense of exclusivity and excitement before orders are collected, fulfilled, kitted, and shipped. Running 2-3 times per year, this seasonal approach has become a recurring event that blends internal culture and thoughtful brand storytelling.

PLAN

For SESCO's Summer 2025 Collection, Whitestone executed their most refined pop-up redemption store to date.

  • SESCO's marketing team, led by graphic designer Jude Olabi, designed a custom Shopify UI/UX featuring branded product pages, interactive size charts, and cohesive color theming. Whitestone implemented their design specifications to bring the vision to life.

  • Klaviyo was integrated with Shopify, allowing SESCO to capture emails at checkout and build automated communication flows for pre-launch announcements and post-delivery engagement.

  • The launch was treated like a B2C campaign, complete with teaser emails, launch messaging, and surprise elements designed to make employees feel valued.

By treating every drop as a hospitality moment rather than a transactional experience, SESCO fosters brand loyalty and excitement with every release.

The Summer 2025 Collection featured a curated assortment of premium apparel that reflected SESCO's elevated brand aesthetic and seasonal theme: "Built for the Season."

APPAREL: Brooks Brothers button-down shirts and Travis Mathew polos — classic, versatile pieces built to transition from the office to summer activities

ACCESSORIES: Socks included as a surprise gift in each kit

PLATFORM DESIGN: Custom Shopify theme featuring SESCO's brand-specific color palettes, UX enhancements, and seamless Klaviyo integration

PACKAGING: Fully branded kitting experience, reinforcing exclusivity and care

Every detail was thoughtfully designed to blend digital creativity with tactile brand experience, creating a cohesive "summer ready" narrative throughout the redemption journey.

RESULTS

INCREASED ENGAGEMENT: The limited-time summer drop generated high participation rates among employees, with the seasonal theme creating genuine excitement and urgency.
