INSPIRATION


Fundays is a seltzer exclusive to Target that launched in the spring of 2021. For their launch event, they wanted signage that was creative and unique and would be a great photo backdrop. We helped them design and create a giant inflatable can of Fundays Seltzer. To pair along with the launch, they wanted to create merch to give away to influencers and event attendees. For this we helped them create totes, pins, koozies, shirts, scarves and retro mixtape speakers!

THE PLAN

To bring their vision to life, we collaborated closely with the Fundays team to develop standout branded moments for both event-goers and social media. The goal: create a visually engaging centerpiece and a line of on-brand giveaways that felt both collectible and covetable. We prioritized design elements that would evoke retro flair while staying modern, aligning with the brand’s quirky and cool positioning.

THE PRODUCT

To complement the immersive experience, we curated a lineup of fun, functional, and highly giftable merch items. Each piece was designed to reflect the spirit of Fundays: playful, nostalgic, and made for making memories.

TOTE BAGS: Perfect for summer days and farmers’ market hauls, these totes were designed with bold colors and quirky typography to reflect the energy of the brand.

ENAMEL PINS: Small but statement-making, the pins added a pop of personality and were ideal for jackets, bags, and social snap

BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS: A standout piece in the kit, these mixtape-inspired speakers sparked conversations and tied directly into the brand’s retro theme.

KOOZIES: These helped keep drinks cold while reinforcing the product experience.

GRAPHIC TEES: A wearable billboard for the brand, the tees featured original designs that blended vintage graphics with modern comfort.

SCARVES: Unexpected and fun, the scarves added a splash of color and versatility to the merch mix—perfect for tying on a bag or around your neck for an influencer-ready look.

RESULTS

The activation delivered exactly what the Fundays brand stands for: joy, energy, and fun. The inflatable can became a centerpiece of the launch and a popular photo-op, while the curated merch packs generated buzz online and made a lasting impression on influencers and attendees. By creating merch that people genuinely wanted to keep, wear, and share, Fundays turned their launch into a true brand moment.
