INSPIRATION

Celebrating ten years at Whitestone represents long-term dedication, shared growth, and individual impact. When the first two team members in company history reached this milestone, the recognition needed to feel deeply personal while still rooted in the brand itself.

The idea began with Whitestone’s logo as the foundation for the award’s form. Its organic shape reflects the company’s belief that no two stones are alike, much like the people who help shape the business over time. The goal was to translate that philosophy into a physical object that felt timeless, meaningful, and uniquely earned.

PLAN

Whitestone set out to produce a fully custom 10-year employee recognition award. The process began by reinterpreting the Whitestone logo as a three-dimensional sculptural form, followed by extensive form development and material testing.

Every element was intentionally designed, including the scale, weight, finish, and method of personalization. The team also created a custom presentation experience to complement the award and reinforce the significance of the milestone.

Through multiple ideation and design rounds, our team tested creative directions for both product presentation and packaging.

PRODUCT

The final 10-year award features a custom three-dimensional sculpture inspired by the Whitestone logo, crafted in a white marble–inspired finish. Each piece is substantial in weight and sits on a solid base with a felt bottom to protect display surfaces.

Every award is individually engraved with the recipient’s name and milestone, ensuring each piece is personalized and entirely one of one. The award is presented in a custom box designed in Whitestone’s tonal palette, featuring a debossed exterior, metallic silver interior imprint, and a coordinating notecard to complete the experience.

RESULTS

The custom 10-year award established a new standard for employee recognition at Whitestone. Designed exclusively for the company’s first two recipients to reach this milestone, the award honors both collective values and individual contributions.

By incorporating the Whitestone logo into the sculpture and personalizing each piece through custom engraving, the award reflects the idea that while the foundation remains the same, every journey is unique. The piece now serves as a lasting symbol of dedication and sets the foundation for future milestone recognition.
